OUTLINING ATPL’S SEASON 3

The Ahmedabad Tennis Premier League (ATPL) is all set to complete its hat-trick as it gears up for its third edition in its third consecutive year.

 

The IPTL-inspired event received huge success in its first two editions wherein the tournament organizers were able to successfully achieve their goal of uniting tennis players all over the city and creating a healthy sporting environment among the players and the spectators.

Targeting a wider reach this season, there will be 10 teams contesting and clashing against each other for the Championship trophy.

Here is a comprehensive list of the 10 participating teams and their members:

 

GROUP A

TENNIS FANATICS: Ashish Parmar, Hiren Gajjar, Kapil Vaishnani, Girish Avtani, Prashant Acharya, Manthan Patel, Vivek Vadekar, Sonu Dhingra.

ACTF SUPERSTARS: Chintan Parikh, Darshan Shah, Maulik Shah, Mitul Shah, Parag Khatri, Poojan Patel, Vivek Goenka, Yogesh Shah.

LIGHTNING SMASHERS: Anand Amin, Nirav Shah, Rahul Wadhwana, Anand Patel, Snehal Thakkar, Bhaskar Narula, Jagadish Soni, Parag Shah.

SHAISHYA WARRIORS: Aditya Sarabhai, Raja Thakkar, Dinesh Patel, Ashok Agarwal, Rajesh Karia, Kapil Parekh, Tejash Mavani, Prashant Maheshwari.

BSF LIONS: Ajay Kumar Tomar, Kulwant Rai Sharma, Jasbir Singh, Abhay Singh, Mr. Rajdeep, Chandrahas Goliya, Bharat Raj, Tapan Sharma.

 

GROUP B

NEON MASTERS: Amit Bhalla, Avichal Khera, Preyash Mehta, Paresh Gajjar, Hitesh Patel, Sarjak Sangvi, Mehul Patel, Pratap Avtani.

SHAISHYA SULTANS: Shailen Mehta, Atul Mittal, Bhaskar Agarwal, Kinjal Patel, Laval Bhatt, Pankaj Arora, Shreyansh Sancheti, Vivek Agarwal.

YMCA CHALLENGERS: Mr. Nimalkar, Parash Khavadia, Devanshu Shah, Dinesh Chandra, Dr. Pradeep Gohel, Rajesh Jain, Falguni Mohanti, H. Sarvaiya.

SRAG SMASHERS: Ashvin Patel, Alap Shah, Mr. Hardik, Paresh Patel, Mr. Punit, Mr. Patidar, Rakesh Barot, Tushar Gajjar.

The 10-day event will contest 5 rounds from 3rd February to 7th February 2018. The top 4 teams of the league stage will face each other in the semi-finals and later for the finals and third spot matches.
